Breakdown of Debt

When I’m searching out blogs/vlogs regarding budgeting and debt, I’m looking for the meat and potatoes.  I want numbers.  I can’t in good conscience expect people to divulge all of their personal finance information if I’m not willing to do the same.  I feel completely vulnerable … but liberated at the same time!

Alright, here we go…

  • Care Credit $340
  • NECU $755.86
  • Paypal $780.73
  • Best Buy $995.71
  • YCFCU $1,176.78
  • Citi $1,940
  • NECU Car $2,845.17
  • Capital One $2,854.44
  • Student Loan $3,966.26
  • Chase $12,243.74

Total debt:  $27,898.69

Plus our mortgage, but that is another STEP entirely.

Since we started our journey in 2014, we’ve paid off: Walmart, Goodyear, Bob’s Furniture Store, Nordstrom, Kohls, (another) Best Buy and my car loan.

As we say in our house, we are on a path to “MURDER THE DEBT!”

August 2015 budget will be up tomorrow!

  1. I love that you included your actual debt amounts too. That’s hard to find. I did a little ‘debt series’ on my blog but didn’t put the actual numbers there and truly, I don’t know why! Maybe it’s REALLY SCARY to see that actual numbers in the end LOL 🙂

I’m currently focused on paying off my credit cards right now first. It’s like, my mind can’t even go any further from that at this point. I’m just SO ANGRY at credit cards right now plus the interest rate is like STEALING from me. (better stop, cause I’m about to get on my high horse!)

Good luck in your debt payoff, I can’t wait to follow you progress & tips!
